We have two positions to fill for our upcoming conference. If you love to befriend fellow chronic illness warriors, then we need you!
Street Team
If you want to make a huge impact but don’t have much time, this role is perfect for you! Street team tasks only need a commitment of 5-10 minutes each week.
As a member of the street team, you’d share conference details with people you know, through social media, email lists, and word of mouth. Once a week, we’ll send you an email with a short task, such as “post this graphic on social media,” “comment on this post,” or “visit the merch shop.” This builds up the hype and awareness before the conference!
The street team’s mission is to connect like-minded Christians who are in need of community, support, and encouragement. Chronic illness warriors feel desperately isolated. This is your chance to invite them to take part in everything the Diamonds ministry offers.
Moderators
If you’ve attended a Diamonds Conference live session in past years, you’ve seen the friendly moderators in the chat—or interacted with them yourself!
Moderators are responsible for engaging the audience while they listen to each speaker. Our moderators keep up the conversation, help people feel seen, and ensure that the live sessions run smoothly. For this position, you only commit an hour or two of your time on January 27, 28, or 29th, 2023.
As a moderator for Diamonds 2023, your duties would include:
- Signing up to be an official Diamonds moderator for our YouTube livestream.
- Watching the live chat during a video session to make sure things are going well.
- Bridging the gap between the speakers and the audience by commenting in the chat.
- Asking questions (we’ll provide ideas!) to initiate conversation.
