Eeep! This has been a long time coming, but I’ve kept it under wraps. However, the time is here. I’m gonna do it.

Starting next Monday, I’m going to be launching a YouTube channel! Like, a real one. 😉 Where I post regularly (every other week, actually).

Its gonna be awesome. If I do say so myself.

Who is this for?

This YouTube channel is going to be a little different from my other stuff. It will be primarily targeted to chronically ill writers.

There are so few resources, and over my years of blogging and being an author while having a chronic illness I’ve learned things the hard way I want to share. I want to let chronically ill writers know that they aren’t alone.

Writing is hard no matter what, but writing with a chronic illness comes with its own unique set of struggles and advantages and general nuances.

What does this mean for this blog?

After much thought, advice, and prayer, I’ve decided to go down from posting four times a month on this blog to posting only twice a month — every other week.

I know. It makes me sad too. But here’s what I’m thinking:

  • This will allow me to put more time and energy into creating those two posts, which will mean higher quality posts with more meat. I think this will be more helpful to you all, rather than getting rushed pieces without a lot of depth.
  • This will allow me more time and energy to write books and work on growing other aspects of writing that will lead to more quality content for you nearer in the future.
  • On the weeks without a blog post, there will be YouTube videos! Though these will be targeted to writers, so many of the topics I plan on covering will also be applicable to every chronic illness warrior, writer or not.

What do you think? This has all been carefully thought over so as to offer the most valuable, quality content I can. But the last thing I want is for any of you to feel like you are losing something encouraging to you or like you are being overlooked.

This is still in the experimental stages, so this is the time to give me your feedback. I want to be able to serve you to the best of my ability.

Will you join the launch team?

There are so many chronically ill writers out there — probably even in your circles, you just don’t know it yet (or maybe you do). But I need your help in reaching them.

So will you join the launch team and help me launch this YouTube channel on Monday, September 21st? Really, I just need people to get excited with me. Nothing fancy, just post about it on social media, tell your friends about it, and engage with my own posts about it. That’s it!
