Friend, my heart goes out to you.
As we approached our Diamonds Summer Event this past weekend, I was praying for renewed passion within myself. And I sit here with my heart broken for you, my fellow warrior.
The battles you face every single day are so much. So heavy. Friend, my heart hurts for you.
But also — my heart is full of so much hope for you.
Getting to listen to the testimonies of defeat and triumph from the Diamonds speakers this past weekend fills me with awe of God.
He is not finished with you. Oh, so far from it! And I hope that you have permission to dream again. To grieve what is needed and to courageously hope.
Here’s the thing.
I don’t want you to have to do it alone.
A conference is great and all, and right now we’re all on a spiritual and emotional high from it. But what happens next week when you find yourself in the emergency room again? Or when you realize that as nice as all those dreams are, reality is harsh.
Hope is not a passing thing. Hope endures. And the beautiful thing is we get to fight for this hope together.
The conference sessions are no longer on YouTube, but they’re not gone. They’re available in the all-access pass — for a lifetime.
So friend, when you need to hear someone’s voice and see in someone’s eyes that you are not alone, and hope is still worth the risk, you can. You can go back again and again as many times as you need, as long as the battle lasts.
The live event is over.
But community is not over. Encouragement is not over. Hope is not over.
